What you’ll do:

  • Assess and treat a wide-range of clientele
  • Provide 1:1 treatment; sessions are in-clinic, home based, or community based
  • Write reports

  • Utilize a holistic, client-centred approach and recognized models of rehabilitation
  • Work with a strong team of OTs and other health professionals

    wide range of issues including emotional adjustment and regulation, grief and loss, adjustment to injury, social adaptation
  • Provide stress management and pain management
  • Facilitate and maximize functioning in a variety of social contexts

What you’ll bring:
Required:

  • Minimum of one year counselling experience

  • Skilled in the provision of a variety of therapeutic approaches including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness-based therapy and Strengths-based therapy
