At Swanson & Associates, we pride ourselves in our client centred service and specific one-on-one treatment programs to meet our clients’ goals. We believe that each client’s treatment plan should reflect their unique background and abilities, as well as the injury itself. We recognize the importance of communicating with our clients’ primary care physician and/or specialists, as well as other treatment team or family members who may be involved in the rehabilitation process. We combine a personalized, hands-on approach with current knowledge, awareness of medical and therapeutic advancements and evidence-based practice.
Our Approach
At Swanson & Associates, we are committed to educating, and thus empowering our clients, by guiding our clients to take an active role in their recovery. Our physiotherapists provide customized comprehensive care to each and every client. We collaborate with the client and, where required, the team, to develop a rehabilitation program that is both challenging and rewarding. Our goal is to facilitate our clients’ active participation in their physiotherapy program to regain physical function and then resume their meaningful day-to-day activities as soon as possible. Our physiotherapists have a wide range of expertise, including orthopedic, neurology and spine therapy, body mechanics training, sports injury therapy and prevention and vestibular rehabilitation including balance and proprioceptive retraining.
Clinic & Home Based Intervention
In-clinic, we treat each client individually, in private rooms. We also offer home based physiotherapy to those clients who are unable to attend the clinic, either due to their mobility restrictions or their fragile health status. We have physiotherapist assistants who can supplement clinic treatments in the home or assist with the transition to home exercise programs.
