Speech and language assessment and intervention is most commonly required by clients with acquired brain injury or other neurological conditions impeding cognitive, linguistic and communication skills. In this context the speech therapist works in collaboration with the rehabilitation team. Our speech therapists also provide articulation and language therapies for a wide range of conditions and for all ages, including paediatric clients.
Therapeutic interventions can include Language, Speech, or Voice Therapy. Cognitive linguistic intervention addresses cognitive skills related to language such as information processing and communication. Swallowing management and treatment can also be addressed as required.
